Tour Chart Editor

The tour chart has now two kinds of actions which can modify a tour:

• Previous: An action is performed, e.g. create a tour marker and the tour is saved immediately. These action are still working as before.
• New: Added undo/redo support for multi-step edits (e.g., deleting time slices). Tours are no longer saved after every single action.

Important!

These actions are mutually exclusive. When using the undo/redo feature, the tour must be saved before performing any actions that do not support undo/redo.

These are the first actions with undo/redo support

• Delete time slices 1755
• Set the geo position from the selected time slice into all previous time sliced (until the tour start) 1777

Tour Chart

• New keyboard actions:
  • Key o: Move the other vertical slider to the same position as the selected vertical slider
• - New context menu actions:
  • Move the left slider to the tour start
  • Move the right slider to the tour end

Tour Segmenter

• Display elevation gain/loss values within break times 1545
• When the break time segmenter is selected, the tour chart displays the updated break times

-vmargs

• Command line parameters with -vmargs can cause this issue 1773 or similar issues. This is fixed with these new features 1773

Tour Chart

• Toggle active vertical slider with the keyboard is now t, before it was the Ctrl key

Tour Editor

• When only one time slice is selected in the tour editor, then the tour chart is positioning both vertical sliders at the same position, before there was a gap of 1 time slice
• Changed shortcut to revert all tour modifications from Ctrl-Z to Ctrl-R, Ctrl-Z is now the undo action in the tour chart

Tour Editor

• When time slices were deleted which contained tour markers, the other tour markers positions were wrong

• When using the command line parameter, e.g.

  this will not work anymore with an integer value. Additionally this command line parameter must also be set:

  The new column "Type (saved)" can display the saved value which is a random value when the type in the UI is empty.
• The equipment tour filter operator is now supporting also the NOT operator.
  This needed to rewrite the code and the old OR or AND operator have to be checked.

Elevation gain/loss

• The elevation gain/loss values may have to be recomputed because these values will now be ignored during break times 1545

Device sensors

• This was a big rewrite to include also a device type because a sensor can have multiple device types
• When a product name is the same as the product number, then the db update process tries to find a suitable Garmin device name
• When tours are imported or re-imported without saving the tours, this will update the sensor type and name for existing sensors, when these values are not yet set

Java 21

Java 21 is the new required Java platform for MyTourbook.

For Windows users, install MyTourbook with the embedded Java and you don't have to care about it, which is the authors preferred way.

UI Font

• The font can be customized for all drawn texts.
  This was needed because since Eclipse 4.36 and MyTourbook is started with an -Dswt.autoScale=nnn parameter, then the font is scaled when drawing a text which could make the font too small or too large
